It has slight, aromatic white buds and papery leaves that are every so often hairy on the lower part. It is occasionally known as the “Burmese Teak “. Teak wood has a leather-like smell when it is freshly cut.
This Teak wood comes from Myanmar with an extensive range of grading hails. Burma region accounts for around one third of the world’s total teak wood production. Loose soil and high water content in soil makes the teak tree grow faster due to high silicate available in the soil.
